   3. Wait a moment.

   For instance, I instructed the AI to produce a presentation on the history of programming.

   After about 30 seconds, here's what Decktopus created:

   Impressive, right? This was generated entirely from scratch with minimal input from me (just a brief three-word description). Of course, it’s essential to edit and verify the accuracy of the content.

   This allows you to focus on the content that truly matters.

3. HeyGen AI

   • AI Cloning Tool

   HeyGen allows you to create a digital clone of yourself. Yes, you read that right. You can generate a video of yourself speaking in any language using this tool.

   Skeptical? Check out this video I made about it:

   This tool can be particularly useful for online presentations related to your research. To get started, record a brief video of yourself speaking any language and follow the provided instructions.

   After submitting your clip, it takes roughly 30 to 90 minutes for the AI to process and generate your clone.

   Once your clone is ready, you can utilize the HeyGen AI editor to create and modify presentations, or produce a classic talking-head video.

   This is an excellent resource for student projects, events, online presentations, and more.

   Even if you’re not a student, it can be an entertaining experience. I once sent a clip to my family, and they were amazed by my newfound Spanish skills… until they discovered it was AI-generated. They were even more impressed after that! :D

4. Canva

   • AI Design and Presentation Tool

   Canva is an exceptional resource for creating visuals and presentations. Its numerous time-saving AI features make it even more appealing.

   For example, here's a cover image I’m designing for a presentation:

   However, the gray background detracts from the image's quality. Fortunately, the AI background remover tool can resolve that:

   After a few seconds, here’s the new look:

   You can harness these features to craft presentations, banners, logos, and other visual projects related to your studies. And these are just some of the AI capabilities.

   Canva also offers various non-AI functionalities worth exploring, including presentation tools and logo generators. Even without the AI features, this tool is a must-try!

5. Wolfram Alpha

   • AI Math Solver

   Wolfram Alpha is one of the oldest AI study tools. I have relied on it for at least five years as a mathematics and physics student.

   I have utilized Wolfram Alpha to compute numerical values for equations, like integrals, to save time and automate tedious tasks.

   For example, here’s how I used it to identify the roots of a curve:

   However, it’s essential to clarify! It’s not a substitute for learning or a means to cheat. The key aspect of my studies is identifying the correct formula or equation to describe a specific problem. Once that’s established, the subsequent calculations are repetitive tasks that the AI can handle in seconds.

   Keep in mind that Wolfram Alpha goes beyond mathematics. It also covers physics, chemistry, and general knowledge.

   Duolingo is my preferred AI-driven language-learning tool (and language-learning platform overall).

   I’ve used it to study Spanish and Portuguese.

   It employs a unique, gamified approach to language instruction. Rather than concentrating on theory, it focuses on repetition and the most crucial elements of a language.

   For instance, it teaches you how to greet others and converse in restaurants.

   The app progresses to more advanced topics, but it ensures you master the basics first.

   The way it operates involves animated characters speaking in a foreign language. Your task is to rearrange the shuffled words to match the spoken phrase.

   Upon successfully completing tasks, you receive rewards and enjoy delightful animations.

   Additionally, it offers optional pronunciation tests by prompting you to speak aloud.

   Duolingo can be quite addictive.

   It features daily targets, rewards, skill points, and leaderboards that keep you engaged.

   Especially if you're already studying languages, this app can greatly complement your learning.

8. The Multiverse AI

   • AI Profile Picture Creator

   One of the most exciting AI products I’ve come across this year is The Multiverse AI.

   This AI headshot generator enhances your LinkedIn profile, CV, and other social media accounts.

   It transforms your photos into high-quality professional images.

   It’s so effective that I could use it as my profile picture on social media.

   Let’s discuss a tool you might have anticipated—ChatGPT—a reliable companion for students.

   ChatGPT is an AI chatbot capable of answering a wide range of queries across various subjects, including science, technology, and coding.

   For example, here, I asked it to draft an essay:

   This versatile and well-rounded AI can assist with a variety of essential tasks.

   It’s a tremendous time-saver and productivity enhancer for students.

   You can leverage it to create outlines for essays, conduct research, generate images, analyze files, and much more.

   However, note that some non-text features (like image generation) are behind a paywall.

   ChatGPT does come with its drawbacks: inaccuracies and hallucinations.

   The AI might assert knowledge it doesn’t possess; it simply predicts the next word based on context.

   It’s an excellent assistant but not a substitute for critical thinking. Use it wisely! :)

    • Free AI Image Generator

    Ideogram AI is a complimentary AI image generator. It creates unique and original images in mere seconds.

    Simply tell the AI what you want, and it will generate it for you.

    For instance, I requested an image of a university in Finland:

    I appreciate this tool because it’s free.

    It serves as a fantastic alternative to ChatGPT if you prefer not to pay for premium services.

    Another valuable tool for refining your writing is the Hemingway App.

    This free tool evaluates your writing based on sentence complexity, structure, and more.

    It flags overly complex words, long sentences, passive voice, etc.

    Keep in mind that while tools like these are beneficial, you shouldn’t follow their suggestions blindly.

    Overly simplifying your writing based on every suggestion can strip it of your unique style, making it sound robotic—something you want to avoid.
